Paris Fashion Week for Spring 2011 Nina Ricci

What does the house of Nina Ricci see for our future? Or at least for this coming spring?

The new creative director Peter Copping used vivid colours like pink, cherry and yellow. Despite the bright colours we could also admire romantic ensmbles with ruffles, laces and light transparents fabrics. He emphasizes the feminine silhoutte by showing a little skin and using pencil skirts bringing sexyness into a very tasteful level.

While the models walked down the catwalk, they looked like elegant flying elves. Can't wait for spring to see all these elves flying around:-)

Fashion Week in Paris for Spring 2011 Emanuel Ungaro

It is been said, that the Fashion Week in Paris sets the trends for the next year. Well, now that Fashion Week is over let's see what Paris sees for the coming spring. Since I am more of a Spring/ Summer person I can't wait for the spring to begin. Until then I will enjoy the beautiful designs of the designers, starting with Emanuel Ungaro. The designer Giles Deacon presented us his interpretation of the Ungaro style: Parisian Chic with a little touch of Showgirl. Using precious laces, feathers, glitter and feminine frills, which celebrates the woman's body. The combination of the transparent fabric and the strong colours will make the spring very sexy!!
