There are many different styles and types of designer handbags offered. Michael Kors offers four main styles of designer handbags. The first is the clutch. This is a small hand held bag that is usually used at formal events. These tend to be smaller and do not have handles or straps. They usually fold over or can have a buckle on them. The second is the Satchel. These bags are larger and designed to hold more items. They usually have two handles and can be held by hand or in the arm.  There is the Shoulder bag which is designed to be carried over the shoulder. These bags are often large and adorned with braided straps or emblems. The final bag type is the Tote. This bag is designed to carry many personal belongings. The straps are often long enough to swing over the shoulder or be carried by hand.

Clutches
The clutch is a small and usually long rectangular narrow shape evening bag that is designed to be carried in the hand. This type of a bag does not have a handle or strap.

Hobos
The hobo bag is a style of handbag or purse that is typically large and characterized by a crescent shape, a slouchy posture and a long strap designed to wear over the shoulder. Hobo bags are made out of soft, flexible materials and tend to slump, or slouch, when set down.

Satchels
Satchel is a large handbag with a small handle. It closes at the top and usually has a metal frame at the top opening that snaps shut. Satchels are worn on the arm instead of the shoulder.

Backpacks
A backpack also called  knapsack, rucksack, packsack is a cloth or leather sack that is carried on one's back and secured with two straps that go over the shoulders. Sometimes a knapsack can be mounted on to a light frame but it's always supported by straps and worn on person's back

Messenger Bags
The messenger bag usually comes with a large flap. It is shapped to allow the courriers to carry documents and they have a cross body strap.
