If there is a designer who has never gone to minimalism it’s Oscar de la Renta. His fashion creations have always been chic no matter what stage the country goes through. Now, with the recession over, the designer has moved even further than ever. His Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 collection is totally luxurious.

 St. John’s Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 collection was the first to have been presented during New York Fashion Week. And it was a good start since the brand that had been specializing exclusively on knit suits changed its direction and became more modern and youthful.

Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana never do things by halves. If they decide to play with letters nothing can stop them from doing that. And here we are with that funny and youthful Fall/ Winter 2011/ 2012 collection (unveiled during Milan Fashion Week), covered with letters all over. Separate and unrelated letters, combined in words and even sensible and often amusing phrases.

Avril Lavigne has revealed that her fashion sense has changed as she's grown up. Avril Lavigne has revealed her tastes in clothing have evolved over the years. The Canadian singer - who released her clothing range 'Abbey Dawn' last year - found fame at 17 with her hit Complicated, when she was famed for her tomboy skater look. But now aged 26, Avril Lavigne said she has moved on to more feminine styles.


BTW.... Avril Lavigne's 'What the Hell' Video.. The pop-punk princess released her first single in four years earlier in January, an anthem called 'What the Hell,' and the video for the tune hit the web on Sunday. The latest video by the "Sk8er Boi" singer, for her new single "What the Hell," has found its way onto the Internet. In it, Lavigne frolics in bed with her beau, only to lock him in their apartment and abandon him for a little "her" time as he follows in vain pursuit. "What the Hell" is the first single from Lavigne's upcoming album, Goodbye Lullaby (out on March 2).

Chanel Black Pearl

I was in need of a replacement Inimitable masacra and took a wander down to my local Chanel counter to pick one up. Whilst there I had a quick paint of the new Chanel Black Pearl nail polish and was hooked, I loved it so needless to say a bottle came home with me.

It is a dark gunmetal grey with the tiniest hint of teal/ turquoise shimmer which is beautiful when it catches the light.

I've tried to capture it as best I can on photo but try it out if you can! It looks really great with my silver rings and is actually my first nail polish with a shimmer to it, all of my others are creme. It must be special!
